# Licenses and maintenance

This work may be distributed and/or modified under the conditions of the
LaTeX Project Public License, either version 1.3c of this license or (at
your option) any later version. The latest version of this license is at
https://www.latex-project.org/lppl.txt and version 1.3c or later is part of
all distributions of LaTeX version 2008/05/04 or later.

This work has the LPPL maintenance status `maintained`.
The Current Maintainer of this work is Hatim Naqos.

The LPPL-covered work consists of `juniamaroc-beamer.cls`, the `.tex` and `.py`
sources, their compiled documentation/illustration outputs, `build.py`,
and the Markdown documentation. The complete distribution is listed in
`MANIFEST.txt`. Institutional logos have the separate terms below. Adoption of LPPL 1.3c or later was confirmed by the maintainer
on 2026-10-27.

## Institutional logos: separate permission

The four `assets/juniamaroc-beamer-logo*.png` and `assets/juniamaroc-beamer-symbol*.png`
files are institutional artwork supplied by JUNIA Maroc. They are NOT
licensed under the LPPL or any font license.

The maintainer confirmed on 2026-10-27 that the school's permission covers
redistribution of these original variants as part of this public package,
including through CTAN and LaTeX distributions, while respecting the
JUNIA Maroc graphic charter. Preserve the supplied artwork and its
proportions. Do not recolour, redraw, rotate or crop the logo.

This permission statement does not assign the school's trademark rights
or imply that a user's presentation is endorsed by the school. Contact
the maintainer for uses beyond the confirmed redistribution scope.
The logo permission is a separate, custom permission; distribution
maintainers must assess it separately from the freely licensed class.

## External fonts

No font files or font sources are distributed in this package. Optional Afacad Flux and Inter Tight fonts are obtained separately from their providers under their own terms. See FONTS.md. Documentation PDFs embed typeset glyphs in accordance with the fonts used; they are not font distributions.
